Lead Software Engineer

Lead, verify, and review plan, architecture, development, migration, installation, and testing of databases using Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c, Data Pump/Guard, RMAN, EMC Avamar, Shell Scripts, SQL Server/Access, OEM Grid Control tools, V$/GV$ views, Explain Plan, TKPROF, AWR (Statspack) reports, ADDM, and OEM. Lead and coordinate root cause analysis of technical problems. Propose changes to installation and administration of databases to increase performance. Lead and coordinate data migration, mapping, and deployment. Oversee and guide masking sensitive data in databases, disaster recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup, and refreshing/restoring on multiple nodes. Outline and guide installation and administration process steps. Lead consultation with databases/projects management and plan and propose requirements, specifications, and standards. Review and confirm implementation. Require travel 10% of the time to unanticipated work locations within USA.

Require Master of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Science/Technology, Database Administration, or related field and 2 years’ experience in the job offered, Software Developer/Engineer, Oracle Database Administrator/Consultant, or related field.
